Upon your arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be picked up by an Eco Community Tours guide/driver, who will take you to Mvuli Suites in Nairobi for dinner and overnight.

Travel to Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today you will have a relaxed breakfast and then head to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Your starting point will be the Mara Eden Camp, also your abode for the next two days. After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, which is sure to produce sightings of various wildlife, including antelopes, lions and buffaloes, among several others. You will later return to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Full-day game drive in Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will head out to the park for an exciting game drive. Even before the sun registers on the horizon, you are likely to see how nature plays itself here, seeing different satisfied predators who may have made their kill the previous night. Return to the camp for breakfast as the sun rises beautifully over Maasai Mara.
You have two options for your meals during the day: either you may carry packed lunch when going for your full-day game drive, or you may decide to come back to the camp for your meal. Note that it’s recommended that when you want to see a lot of animals, then you should do various game drives at different times and locations.
After your exciting and memorable day in the wild, you’ll return to the camp, relax on the veranda, cold drink in hand, as you enjoy some idyllic views of the Mara River.

Lake Naivasha

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving at Lake NaivashaSopa Lodge just in time for lunch. After lunch, an afternoon boat ride on the lake will reward you with sightings of several water birds such as pelicans, cormorants, herons and kingfishers, among many others. You will also see thirsty wild animals such as waterbucks, zebras, giraffes and a couple of others that the lake attracts.

Journey to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will head to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will have lunch and then head out to the park for a game drive, which will reward you with close encounters with some of Amboseli’s most famous residents, including elephants, Grant’s gazelle, waterbucks and dik-diks, among others.
Later in the evening, you will retire to Kibo Safari Camp, a semi-luxury establishment that will be your accommodation for the next two days.

Full day game drive in Amboseli National Park

Viewing the stunning Mt Kilimanjaro from the park usually is best done in the morning. Your game drive today will begin early in the morning so that you get the best opportunities to take pictures of the stunning landscapes and wildlife.
Later in the evening after the game drive, you’ll head back to the camp, where you can relax by taking a dip in the pool.

Welcome to Tanzania!

After breakfast, you will head out to Amboseli National Park for a final game drive on your way to Tanzania.
You will be taken to Ilboru Safari Lodge, a pleasant property with a sprawling garden and swimming pool.
Located at the base of Mount Meru and harmoniously woven into the surrounding scenery, Ilboru Safari Lodge will be your starting point for tomorrow’s game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

Explore Lake Manyara National Park

After an early breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park, packed lunch in hand. On arrival, your starting point will be the cosyMtoWaMbu village, where you’ll enjoy an early morning walk that will last for between 3-4 hours.
Here you’ll come into contact with the local community, taste locally-brewed banana beer, and also learn about the Makonde woodcarvings – with your guide on hand to discern for you the locals’ way of life.
You’ll later have lunch before embarking on a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, where you’ll get to see an array of wild animals such as zebras, impalas, elephants, baboons, warthogs, giraffes, hippos and the rare tree-climbing lions. If you are a birding enthusiast, Lake Manyara is also home to a range of bird species for you to see.
After the game drive, you’ll head to Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp, where you will enjoy a relaxing dip in the pool before slacking up on your veranda, drink in hand, as you watch the sun setting.

Game drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on a two-hour journey to the Serengeti National Park, famous for playing host to the most extensive population of wild animals in the world.
Open and grassy, Serengeti means “endless plains” in the local Maasai language, and today you will experience these endless plains first-hand. It’s a day of lots of fun and excitement, a full-day safari that will bring you into contact with Africa’s best: lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, leopards, zebras, mongoose, impalas – the list is endless. However, one thing is for sure: Serengeti is not going to disappoint you!
After the incredible game drive in the world’s most famous national park, you’ll be taken to Tortilis Camp, which boasts an astonishing exterior and a cosy interior – the perfect abode for you after a long day in the wild.

Game drive in Serengeti National Park

Today you’ll leave the camp early in the morning, packed lunch in hand, and head out for a full-day safari. For most travellers, a safari in the Serengeti National Park is never complete without sporting the famous big cats – lions and cheetahs – and there are many chances that you’ll spot them here, in addition to the very elusive leopards!
Your guide will find for you an excellent picnic spot from where you’ll have lunch before heading back to the wild for the afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, you’ll head back to the Tortilis Camp for a sumptuous dinner and overnight.

Last day in the Serengeti

Day 11 marks your final day in the beautiful, full-of-wonders Serengeti National Park. You will check out more animals as you game-drive on your way out of the park and to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
When you arrive at Ngorongoro National Park, you’ll be a guest at the beautiful Country Lodge Karatu, located just outside the park. It’s from here that you’ll explore another of Tanzania’s natural wonders tomorrow morning.

Ngorongoro Crater safari and departure

After breakfast in the morning, you will head out for a game drive (again, with packed lunch) in the Ngorongoro Crater, whose floor hosts more than 30,000 wild animals.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater — cascaded by towering walls — is home to the African Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard, though it takes some luck to spot the shy and elusive leopards.
Today is your final day with Eco Community Tours. After the game drive, our driver/guide will take you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home.
