6-Days Migration Fly-In Safari

Day 1 Welcome to Magical Kenya!

When you arrive at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our driver/guide will pick you up and take you to Wilson Airport, from where you’ll take a domestic flight to Maasai Mara.

 

Then, upon your arrival, you will be a guest at the luxurious Mara Serena Safari Lodge, a property whose architecture is a hypnotic combo of traditional and contemporary styles.

Day 2 Explore Mara North Conservancy

Today is your opportunity to discover the fantastic wildlife in the Mara North Conservancy. Your day will begin as early as 5:30 am so that you get a chance to see the sun rising over the Indian Ocean and also take memorable photos. You have two options: going on several game drives that are spread over the day with lunch at the camp or a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the park.

 

Later at night, you’ll go for a night game drive for encounters with nocturnal animals, which spend most of the day sleeping. They include hippos, leopards, civet cats, and white-tailed mongoose, among others.

Day 3 Follow the migration in the Mara Triangle

After taking breakfast at the camp, you’ll be driven to the Mara Triangle, which is located on the western part of the game reserve packs idyllic landscapes with fantastic wildlife.

 

Be at the right place and at the right time to have high chances of seeing animals crossing the river in this location of the park. This should be the focus of your tour, which will take the whole day with a picnic lunch in-between.

 

Later in the evening, you’ll be driven back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4 Drive to the Masai Mara

In the morning after breakfast, you’ll go for a short morning game drive, return to the lodge to check out, and then drive to the Mara’s Musiara Gate. Today you’ll be a guest at Entrim Mara Camp, your abode for the next two days.

 

After lunch, you will go for a long drive to search for the famous African Big Five in the Maasai Mara. You will also be able to see other animals like antelopes, buffaloes, and crocodiles in the Mara River.

Day 5 Full-day game drive in Maasai Mara

After breakfast, you will head out to the park for an exciting game drive. Even before the sun registers on the horizon, you are likely to see how nature plays itself here, seeing different satisfied predators who may have made their kill the previous night. Return to the camp for breakfast as the sun rises beautifully over Maasai Mara.

 

You have two options for your meals during the day: either you may carry packed lunch when going for your full-day game drive, or you may decide to come back to the camp for your meal. Note that it’s recommended that when you want to see a lot of animals, then you should do various game drives at different times and locations.

 

After your exciting and memorable day in the wild, you’ll return to the camp, relax on the veranda, cold drink in hand, as you enjoy some idyllic views of the Mara River.

Day 6 Domestic flight to Nairobi

Today you are going to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea early in the morning before embarking on another game drive to see hyenas, lions, and any other predators enjoying their meals after a successful hunt. After this, you may return to the camp for brunch and later do another game drive till lunchtime.

 

It has been five days of exciting game drives in the Maasai Mara, but everything comes to an end. It’s time to pack your bags, leave this beautiful reserve, and take your flight back to Nairobi.

 

In the afternoon, an Eco Community Tours guide/driver will take you to Ol Kiombo Airstrip for your domestic flight to Nairobi, at Wilson Airport to be precise. You will then be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight back home.

6-Days Kenya Safari

Day 1 Welcome to Magical Kenya!

Upon your arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be picked up by an Eco Community Tours guide/driver, who will take you to Mvuli Suites in Nairobi for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Travel to Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today you will have a relaxed breakfast and then head to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Your starting point will be the Mara Eden Camp, also your abode for the next two days. After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, which is sure to produce sightings of various wildlife, including antelopes, lions, and buffaloes, among several others. You will later return to your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3 Full-day game drive in Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will head out to the park for an exciting game drive. Day 4 Lake Naivasha

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving at Lake NaivashaSopa Lodge just in time for lunch. After lunch, an afternoon boat ride on the lake will reward you with sightings of several water birds such as pelicans, cormorants, herons, and kingfishers, among many others. You will also see thirsty wild animals such as waterbucks, zebras, giraffes and a couple of others that the lake attracts.

Day 5 Journey to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will head to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will have lunch and then head out to the park for a game drive, which will reward you with close encounters with some of Amboseli’s most famous residents, including elephants, Grant’s gazelle, waterbucks, and dik-diks, among others.

 

Later in the evening, you will retire to Kibo Safari Camp, a semi-luxury establishment that will be your accommodation for the next two days.

Day 6 Full day game drive in Amboseli National Park

Viewing the stunning Mt Kilimanjaro from the park usually is best done in the morning. Your game drive today will begin early in the morning so that you get the best opportunities to take pictures of the stunning landscapes and wildlife.

 

Later in the evening after the game drive, you’ll head back to the camp, where you can relax by taking a dip in the pool.

4-Days Maasai Mara Safari

Day 4 Domestic flight back to Nairobi

Today is your last day with Eco Community Tours. You will wake up quite early in the morning and embark on another game drive to see hyenas, lions, and any other predators enjoying their meals after a successful hunt.

 

After this, you may return to the lodge for your breakfast and later do another game drive till lunchtime.

It has been four days of exciting game drives in the Mara, but everything comes to an end. It’s time to pack your bags, leave this beautiful reserve, and take your flight back to Nairobi.

In the afternoon, our driver/guide will take you to the airstrip, from where you’ll take a domestic flight to Wilson Airport. You will then be driven to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight back home.

7-Days Exciting Kenya Safari

Day 1 Welcome to Magical Kenya!

When you arrive at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our driver/guide will pick you up and take you to Karen County Resort, which is located near many attractions like Bomas of Kenya, Karen Blixen Museum, Elephant Orphanage, the Nairobi National Park, and Giraffe Centre.

 

You may take time to visit some of these attractions, depending on your arrival time – and at your own expense.

Day 2 Lake Nakuru National park

Today you’ll have an early breakfast and then depart for your first trip to Lake Nakuru National Park (with your packed lunch), making sure to briefly stop at the watery wonder that is Thomson Falls for some photo opportunities.

 

Lake Nakuru is found on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and is surrounded by wooden, bushy grasslands. Here you are guaranteed some exciting time, enjoying the lake’s ecological diversity and the varied habitats that range from the lake itself to adjacent escarpments and idyllic ridges – perfect for hiking, bird watching, and game drives.

 

You will enjoy a day-long game drive before retiring to the luxurious Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for that much-needed relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3 Journey to Masai Mara & afternoon game drive

After taking early breakfast, you will head to the renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve, located on Kenya’s border with Tanzania. The game reserve has large populations of wildlife, including lions, hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, which are usually spotted at the Mara River.

 

If your travel time is between July and August, you may also get the chance to see the magnificent wildebeest migration!

 

While in the Mara, you’ll spend the next three nights at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge, which is not fenced and is designed to let you see the breathtaking movement of animals through the grounds. This provides a fantastic but relaxed atmosphere for you to experience some full adventure in the African wild.

Day 4&5 Full-day game drives in Maasai Mara

You are going to have two full days traversing the Maasai Mara with full-day game drives. Even before the sun registers on the horizon, you are likely to see how nature plays itself here, seeing different satisfied predators that may have made their kill the previous night.

 

You have two options for meals during the day: you may either carry packed lunch when going for your full-day game drive or come back to the lodge for your meal. Day 6 Visit Lake Naivasha, Boat safari

After breakfast, you’ll go for a game drive en-route to Lake Naivasha, from where you’ll have your packed lunch.

 

This lake hosts many species of animals, including hippos that are notorious for raiding people’s property at night for food. It’s a freshwater lake with a large number of fish species, including tilapia and crayfish. You’ll have a boat safari on Lake Naivasha in the evening to see hippos and birds and later head to your next accommodation, Enashipai Resort & Spa, which offers its guests a panoramic view of Lake Naivasha.

Day 7 Departure

Today marks the end of your memorable Kenya Safari with Eco Community Tours! Depending on the departure of your flight, you may have a day left to engage in some optional activities in either Naivasha or Nairobi, but at your own expense.

 

Upon arrival in Nairobi, an Eco Community Tours driver/guide will be on hand to take you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to take your flight back home.
