When you arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, our driver/guide will pick you up and take you to the Arumeru River Lodge across the northern Tanzanian city of Arusha.
The lodge, set on a beautiful coffee plantation, boasts gorgeous cottages built in a combination of African and European styles.

Today you’ll have an early breakfast and head straight to Lake Manyara National Park where, upon arrival, you will take a walk through the cosyMtoWaMbu village.
The 2-3-hour village walk will bring you into contact with the local communities and the Makonde woodcarvings and you’ll also taste the locally-brewed banana beer – your guide on hand to help you discern the locals’ way of life.
After lunch in the afternoon, you’ll enter Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive that is sure to reward you with breathtaking views of the park’s landscapes, as well as an array of animal and bird species. Today’s sightings will include hippo, zebra, wildebeest, baboon, warthog, giraffe, elephant, impala, and the tree-climbing lion.
After the game drive, you will retire to Escarpment Luxury Lodge, which overlooks the rift valley with Lake Manyara on the horizon.

After breakfast, you will embark on a two-hour journey to the Serengeti National Park, famous for playing host to the most extensive population of wild animals in the world.
Open and grassy, Serengeti means “endless plains” in the local Maasai language, and today you will experience these endless plains first-hand. It’s a day of lots of fun and excitement, a safari that will bring you into contact with Africa’s best: lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, leopards, zebras, mongoose, impalas – the list is endless. However, one thing is for sure: Serengeti is not going to disappoint you!
After the incredible game drive in the world’s most famous national park, you’ll be taken to Tortilis Camp, which boasts an astonishing exterior and a cosy interior – perfect abode for you after a long day in the wild.

Today you’ll leave the camp early in the morning, packed lunch in hand, and head out for a full-day safari. For most travelers, a safari in the Serengeti National Park is never complete without sporting the famous big cats – lions and cheetahs – and there are many chances that you’ll spot them here, in addition to the very elusive leopards!
Your guide will find for you an excellent picnic spot from where you’ll have lunch before heading back to the wild for the afternoon game drive. You’ll later be a guest at MbuziMawe Tented Camp, from where you’ll begin your final day in the Serengeti tomorrow.

Day 5 marks your final day in the beautiful, full-of-wonders Serengeti National Park. You will check out more animals as you game-drive on your way out of the park and to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
When you arrive at Ngorongoro National Park, you’ll be a guest at the beautiful Country Lodge Karatu, located just outside the park. It’s from here that you’ll explore another of Tanzania’s natural wonders tomorrow morning.

After breakfast in the morning, you will head out for a game drive (again, with packed lunch) in the Ngorongoro Crater, whose floor hosts more than 30,000 wild animals.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater — cascaded by towering walls — is home to the African Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, though it takes some luck to spot the shy and elusive leopards.
Today is your final day with Eco Community Tours. After the game drive, our driver/guide will take you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home.

After breakfast, you will head out to Amboseli National Park for a final game drive on your way to Tanzania.
You will be taken to Ilboru Safari Lodge, a pleasant property with a sprawling garden and swimming pool.
Located at the base of Mount Meru and harmoniously woven into the surrounding scenery, Ilboru Safari Lodge will be your starting point for tomorrow’s game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.
